Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other theatrical performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her, she started more serious training in singing at 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous chamber and opera choirs. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. as a music teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in various community-based projects due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana has also been a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
